MSI P35 Neo-F (MSI-7360)

  • SATAII controller integrated in ICH9 and Marvell 88SE6111 chipest
  • Audio - integrated by Realtek AL888
  • LAN - integrated PCI Express LAN 10/100/1000 Realtek 8111B.

eComStation:

  • Works with eCS2.0rc2, Intel E6750 Dual Core, 2GB RAM (disable ACPI during install and use ACPI3.04 afterwards)
  • SATA Harddisk (400GB) - okay
  • IDE/ATA (Marvell 88SE6111) with LG DVD-Burner - okay (thanks Dani)
  • PSD=ACPI.PSD /SMP /R /APIC to enable second CPU (APIC is necessary for Realtek LAN, otherwise sporadic hangs or trap 0e)
  • LAN - tested with rtng12 driver (IRQ15OVR = "YES" and probably the other settings found here for RTL8168/69 required, TCP/IP works, Netbios does _not_ work (loads fine but can not connect to server?), IEE802.2 does _not_ work), will try to test with Genmac 2.1 or use RTL8139 PCI card...
  • Audio - not tested
  • USB - 2GB stick and external harddisk okay

Please change in above review -

Netbios _does_ work (was problem with dcdb directory). But still cann't get IEE802.2 to work (Errors in lantran.log).

Audio do not work with uniaud114RC4 - hangs completly when try to start any sound.

With newer builds of uniaud (1.9.11, 25 Jan 2009 19:14:45) compiled by Paul, sound works. But sporadic hangs especially with smplayer and AC3 sound.

Switch off power supply after shutdown no works again with acpi 3.15 (20 Apr 2009 00:51:32, acpipre3 package). Was broken since acpi 2.xx.
