MSI 870-G45Mark: Average (This report is prepared by ecomstation.ru scout), source of information:

I've recently purchased a MSI 870-G45 for a replacement MB. I've placed an
Athlon-II 3 Core processor along with 2 Gig or Ram onto the board.

Here is the initial install report.

I have successfully installed both Xp (no surprise there) and eCS V2.1. The
system has the following peripherals, at least for now.

   SATA DVD-RW Drive
   IDE CD-ROM Drive
   SATA 500 Gig
   IDE 40Gig (XP/eCS Boot)
   3Com Ethernet PCI
   Radeon ATI X600 Video Card

The Mainboard has an Atheros AR8131, that I;m working on getting GENMAC to
function on, but went with the 3Com for network support.

The eCS Install went seamlessly. No issue and no problems. It install
APIC.PSD as /VBE, but once I enabled /SMP, all 3 cores are recogonized and
functional.

Have not done anyhing with sound at the moment, as I need to unearth some
speaker to connect and test. But overall, it seems to be working fine.
