Buffalo LinkStation Network Storage CenterMark: Average I use a Buffalo LinkStation with ECS with no problems; I first accessed it with Win2K to use the setup screen, but I don't think I changed anything (it's a long time ago). The setup is nominally HTTP, but OS/2 browsers don't seem to work. Anyhow, it's a small box running Linux and Samba; the version of Samba won't handle extended attributes, and I've never bothered to reflash it, but it works quite happily with Unix and OS/2 otherwise. (It also has an FTP server - if it had a Telnet server for maintenance logins it would be perfect.)
