The next week is dedicated to collection of reports about supported modern notebooks Lenovo Thinkpad T400, T420, T510, T520, W500, .. Our database contains 367 records about notebooks only. Major part of the models are not manufactured anymore. Post new reports using the web-form.

Please add information: Version of ACPI driver (switches, BIOS setup changes), etc. How did you replaces WiFi adapter?

MESHTOOL/OGFVIEWER - crossplatform utilities toolkit for viewing, conversion 3d-models and levels from different gaming engines.

Used 3D API interfaces: IBM OpenGL, Mesa3D OpenGL (Scitech SNAP SDK).

SNAP video for OS/2 and eComStation acquired

Mensys B.V. of the Netherlands has acquired the source code and rights to create binary distributions of the SNAP product for OS/2 in an agreement with the company Alt Richmond Inc. of Canada. The SNAP graphics driver provides high performance support for current graphic chipsets on eComStation.

"The SNAP acquisition fits the Mensys strategy to continue to provide ongoing support for the OS/2 operating system", says Roderick Klein of Mensys B.V. "We believe that in combination with the Panorama video driver technology we will be able to create the best performing generic video driver for eComStation to date. We are delighted that we have been able to acquire this code and are very happy with the cooperation, responsiveness and profesionalism of Alt Richmond."

1) What applications do you accumulate at Piano Launchpad? Here is the problem: the WPS is a large launchpad: the user put apps to the desktop or folders of the 1-st level. Nevertheless, the launchpad which is able to popup from the border is needed too. What applications do you put to launchpad? File Commander, Main printer, anymore?

Sigurd Fastenrath have installed eComStation 2.1 on tablet: ASUS EEE Slate EP121. (you can watch the clip)

CPU: Intel Dual-Core i5, 64GB SSD, 12.1" LED

Not all devices are supported, the future depends on developers of device drivers.

Seems that eComStation will be used on notebooks and tablets (with Intel CPU) more often, this means that the system should be changed to support this hardware (it's necessary modernize the User Interface and develop additional utilities/applications)
